IAB Member H.E. Ambassador Prof Dr. Bubaker Almansori who is also Chair of ICIFE North Africa Chapter last month visited Tunisia to meet Dr. Nejib, Founder & CEO of Suptech Group and Mr Hamadi Alrezgee, Executive Director and Dr. Belgas Alzidee, GM of ALZ International in Tunis to finalize arrangements for ICIFE to conduct Islamic Finance courses both in Tunis and KL. H.E. also met the Rector of Alzatona Islamic University. Whilst in Tripoli, H.E. had series of meetings with Central Bank of Libya, Alsunosi Islamic University, Omer Almukhar University and the Libyan Islamic Bank.
At the home front, on 20 September IAB Member YBhg Prof Tan Sri Dato’ Dzulkifli Abdul Razak conducted Balanced Leadership course for 50 Military Commanders at Malaysian Armed Forces Defense College in Kuala Lumpur. The course was to enhance the leadership competency and governance effectiveness that would enable the top commanders to translate their units, divisions and organizations’ vision into real action.
During the weekend, 23-25 September Tan Sri Dzulkifli presided over an International Conference on Kampong Mizan USIM-Bank Rakyat at Nilai Springs Resort Hotel and Dewan Tuanku Canselor USIM. It was organized as a platform to exchange and discuss ideas related to balance development and the future of kampong (village) from multiple perspectives. Local and international scholars from various field of studies in a specific intellectual forum to reclaim the values and heritage of village in modern development.
