“If there is an Award for being the BEST Booth at this 11th ICIEF Exhibition, I would have definitely given it to ICIFE,” Prof Dr. Mohamed Aslam Haneef, Organizing Chairman, 11th ICIEF ‘announced the result’ of his scholarly assessment when meeting Director Dr Haji Zulkifly Baharom, in the morning of 12 October (Day-2 of the Exhibition) at the Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur.
That valuable feedback was echoed by eminent Prof Datuk Dr Syed Othman Alhabshi, Deputy President Academic and Prof Dr Syed Abdul Hamid Aljunid of INCEIF Malaysia; Mr. Muhamad Ashraf, the CEO of Amanah Institute of Islamic Finance and Economics, Germany; Mr. Yazdi Bankwala, Principal Executive Consultant & COO of Arpitha Associates, Singapore; and Mr. Muhammad Rifat, Program Manager of Akar Rumput Strategic Consulting, Indonesia; just to name a few of visitors who examined ICIFE Booth.
Guest of Honor of 11th ICIEF, Prof Dato’ Seri Dr. Zaleha Kamaruddin, the Rector of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) also spend time to visit ICIFE Booth accompanied by Prof Dr Khaliq Ahmad, Founding President & Dean of IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking & Finance, and Exco Prof Dr Saadiah Mohamad of UiTM. Others in the Rector’s entourage included Prof Dr Maliah Sulaiman, Dean of Kulliyyah Economics and Management Sciences, IIUM who is also Chairperson of 11th ICIEF Steering Committee; Prof Dr Tariqullah Khan, President of International Association for Islamic Economics and Prof Dr Abdul Ghafar Ismail, representing the Islamic Research and Training Institute of Islamic Development Bank.
Responding to the positive feedback, Dr Haji Zulkifly said, “Alhamdulillah. Credits goes to ICIFE staffers namely Firdaus, Thim, Komala and Basheer. The lessons of experience in managing ICIFE Booth at KUIS Public Lecture Exhibition, the International Federation of Training & Development Organizations (IFTDO) Exhibition, WAiBS Exhibition; and two consecutive years involvement with the World Islamic Economic Forum Exhibitions: KL 2015 and Jakarta 2016 had given us the practical insights and refreshing learning for continuous improvement as well as the pain of the process, of all things, looking at it realistically.”
